Responsibilities:
Completes safety checklists, progress reports, comprehensive reviews, and audits for required documentation, and work schedule, including, but not limited to project order, drawings, schematics, manuals, etc.
Commission steel processing machines based on Acceptance Protocol including operation post-installation Audits correct connections for all parts of machinery, soft and hardware (e.
g.
, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and software applications, etc.
) Serves as person of contact for technical aspects of the commissioning process at customer locationsDelivers steel processing machine ready for use according to customer quality, drawings, and safety requirements Completes testing and data collection to solve complex technical problems at root causeTrains customers and operators on the use and maintenance of machineryCreates specialized training programs and instruction to support client transfer of knowledgeIdentifies and records improvements (i.
e.
, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, software) based on own observation, signals from customers, or directives from the organizationAccountable for reporting on matters that can impact project budgetEnsures accurate and timely submission of business expenses, working hours, and daily work reportsIdentifies potential challenges and/or bottlenecks in the execution of allotted projects and reports them promptly to Team Leader/Project ManagementAdditional duties as assigned by managementEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 80%.
Must be able to work three weeks on and one week off format.
Experience working in the steel manufacturing industry 3 - 4 years.
Professional experience working in the computerized numerical control (CNC) machinery industry and/or working.
with mechanical and electrical machinery in general.
Being able to speak, read, and write the English language is required to interact effectively with internal and external customers while out in the field.
Advanced computer proficiency (i.
e.
, Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and Outlook, Teams, etc.
) at least two years.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing.
